by From December 2, it will be possible to clear a car online using the Diia app. In some ways, this is an experiment, but a rather long one – until December 31, 2023. That is, essentially there are 2 years (for now) to use the app to submit the necessary documents for customs clearance, pay the customs fee, and complete the clearance automatically.
One of the most common categories of vehicles that are most often imported into the customs territory of Ukraine was chosen for the project — 8703. It describes the procedure for customs clearance of passenger cars, motorcycles, etc.
The resolution provides for the possibility to:
- carry out customs clearance by submitting a preliminary customs declaration, a general declaration of arrival in oral form;
- submit documents in electronic form;
- pay customs duties within 10 days;
- complete customs clearance automatically.
