The American publication Consumer Reports published its traditional annual car quality rating. The best were determined based on reviews from half a million car owners.
When compiling the rating, driving performance, reliability, and safety were also taken into account. For instance, cars without an automatic braking system could not achieve a high score this year. Subaru unexpectedly took the leading positions.
Consumer Reports recommends purchasing 7 out of the 8 models of the Japanese brand available on the market.
The second place went to Genesis, and the third to Porsche. The worst were recognized as Fiat, Jaguar Land, and Rover.
The most quality car models in different classes have also been determined:
Compact cars – Toyota Yaris;
Compact premium cars – Audi A4;
Midsize cars – Toyota Camry Hybrid;
Full-size cars – Toyota Avalon Hybrid;
Hybrids – Toyota Prius;
Subcompact crossovers – Hyundai Kona;
Compact crossovers – Subaru Forester;
Midsize crossovers – Subaru Ascent;
Premium crossovers – BMW X5;
Pickups – Ford F-150.
