In April, Ukrainians purchased over 10,000 new cars. According to the UkrAutoprom association, this is 11% more than the figure for March and three times more than in April last year.
However, such a high growth rate can be explained by the fact that a year ago the market was essentially frozen due to the quarantine, as restrictions were imposed on the operation of car dealerships and the Ministry of Internal Affairs service centers.

Most of all, Ukrainians bought Toyota cars in April – 1618 units, or four times more than a year ago. Renault (1215 cars) ranks second, and Kia (830) is third.
The TOP-10 of the Ukrainian car market in April looks like this:
1. Toyota – 1618 sold cars;
2. Renault – 1215;
3. Kia – 830;
4. Skoda – 616;
5. Volkswagen – 482;
6. Chery – 416;
7. Peugeot – 410;
8. Nissan – 388;
9. BMW – 365;
