In August, Ukrainians purchased 8.5 thousand new passenger cars. According to the association ‘Ukrautoprom’, this is 22% more than a year earlier and generally the best August figure for the past 8 years.
Renault regained its leadership in the market with 1274 cars sold. Not far behind was Toyota (1260 cars), and in third place was Kia (840).

- Volkswagen – 370;

The most popular car in Ukraine for August is the Kia Sportage (603 units). In total, Ukrainians purchased 66.7 thousand new cars over 8 months – 27% more than a year earlier.
