In June, the car market in Ukraine showed significant growth. A total of 8.8 thousand new cars were sold—this is 4% more than in May and 21% higher than the figure for June 2021.
Moreover, as reported by the association “Ukravtoprom”, this figure is even better than in the pre-quarantine year of 2019. So the market has fully recovered.
The top three leaders remain unchanged: Toyota (1296 cars sold), Renault (986), and Kia (742). This is followed by Skoda (609 cars) and Hyundai (441).

- Hyundai – 441 (+11%);
- Nissan – 391 (+68%);
- Volkswagen – 384 (+273%);
- Peugeot – 383 (+17%);
- Chery – 369 (+129%);
- Mitsubishi – 367 (+71%).
The most popular car in Ukraine—as before, the Toyota RAV4 crossover—found 547 buyers. A total of 48.4 thousand new cars were sold in Ukraine over six months—30% more than in the first half of 2020.
