In April 2019, 22.5 thousand used cars underwent their first registration in Ukraine. According to the ‘Ukravtoprom’ association, this is 3.5 times more than in April last year. 
In total, 206,930 used cars have been registered in Ukraine since the beginning of the year. Although the preferential customs clearance period has long ended, used cars are still actively imported. Interestingly, half of these 22.5 thousand cars are over 10 years old.
And 53% are diesel models. The share of used cars in the car market is 77%. The leaders of the secondary market are Volkswagen (3.7 thousand cars), Skoda (1848 units), Renault (1821). Opel (1777 cars) and Ford (1550) are also in demand. The most popular used cars have been named:
Volkswagen Passat – 1514 units;
Skoda Octavia – 1150;
Renault Megane – 1138.
