by A ranking of car color popularity in Ukraine has been compiled. It was published by the association “Ukrautoprom” based on information from 108.8 thousand cars registered in the first quarter of 2021.
As before, the preferences of buyers for new and used cars differ. In the new segment, the most common color is white (30%), and most often this color was chosen for the Renault Duster crossover. The TOP-5 most popular colors are as follows:
- White – 30% (Renault Duster);
- Gray – 27% (Toyota RAV4);
- Black – 16% (Toyota RAV4);
- Blue – 11% (Kia Sportage);
- Brown – 6% (Kia Sportage).
In the used segment, the most popular car colors are somewhat different, with gray cars being the most common:
- Gray – 38% (Renault Megane);
- Black – 25% (Volkswagen Passat);
- White – 14% (Renault Megane);
- Blue – 12% (Volkswagen Golf);
- Red – 6% (Ford Focus).
The least popular color in 2021 turned out to be purple. It was chosen for only 29 new and 140 used cars.
