In 2018, 770,524 sports cars were sold worldwide. According to focus2move, the sports car segment is experiencing a slight decline, as this figure is 4.3% lower than in 2017. 
As before, American models lead the rankings. The most popular sports car in the world remains the Ford Mustang: last year, 116,952 coupes and convertibles were sold. The second place is occupied by the sports sedan Dodge Charger (91,677 units), and the third is the Dodge Challenger coupe (70,816 units).
