In South Korea, a large Kia crossover was spotted during testing. The brand’s flagship SUV model will debut in November at the auto show in Los Angeles.
The new Kia crossover is the production version of the Kia Telluride concept car. It retains a familiar angular design, although its front end looks more restrained and very unusual by Kia standards.
There is very little information about the future seven-seater Kia crossover, and even its configuration is unknown at the moment. According to some sources, the car uses the elongated platform of the Hyundai Santa Fe with a transverse engine layout, while others claim the architecture of the Kia Quoris with a longitudinal engine.
In any case, a 3.3-liter V6 gasoline engine is likely to reside under the hood. Recall, in its naturally aspirated version, this engine develops 290 hp, while in the turbocharged version (on the Kia Stinger GT) it produces 370 hp.
