by In Finland, the most powerful and fastest combine harvester in the world was built. The old Fahr M44 from 1967 was turned into a real dragster. 
The combine was equipped with a massive 8.2-liter V8 from a 1976 Cadillac Eldorado, which develops 500 hp after fitting a pair of turbines. It is paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission. Since the front wheels are the driving ones, they are fitted with huge 22-inch tires.
In drag racing, the racing combine completed a quarter mile in 14.1 seconds and reached a finish speed of 154 km/h. For reference, the new Volkswagen Golf GTI showed a quarter mile time of 14.4 seconds.
