The atelier Ares Design has become famous for a number of bold projects, among which are a very unusual Gelandewagen and a coupe Bentley Mulsanne. Now the British have taken on reviving the legendary Ferrari 250 GTO of 1962 – the most expensive car of all time.
First sketches of the car are presented. The new Ferrari 250 GTO supercar outwardly resembles the famous ancestor. It has a familiar silhouette, distinctive teardrop-shaped headlights, and an oval radiator grille, with three ventilation holes appearing on the nose.
The foundation of the car is the supercar Ferrari 812 Superfast. Under the hood there is a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine with 800 hp. The maximum speed exceeds 340 km/h.
In total, only 10 modern Ferrari 250 GTOs by Ares Design will be produced. The price of the car will be 1.2 million euros. That’s substantial, but after all, the real GTO sells for $70 million.
