A new McLaren Speedtail caught fire in the United Kingdom. The McLaren hypercar is currently undergoing final tests before production starts in 2020. 
The McLaren Speedtail coupé began to smoke right near a gas station, so the car had to be extinguished very quickly. The cause of the fire is said to be electrical equipment malfunctions. Recall that the new McLaren Speedtail is the successor to the famous F1 hypercar.
The three-seater coupé is equipped with a hybrid system producing 1050 hp and capable of reaching 402 km/h. 
This is the brand’s most expensive model – 2.1 million dollars. However, buying a McLaren is no longer possible – all 106 cars in the limited series have long been sold out.
