The most extreme Ferrari supercar spotted live for the first time

At the Paris Motor Show, the Ferrari Monza supercar was presented. The track model will be released in a limited series of 200 cars. The Ferrari Monza can be purchased for 2.3 million euros.

The new Ferrari Monza is styled like racing sports prototypes of the 50s. The car lacks a windshield and side windows, and the doors lift upwards.

The novelty is based on the Ferrari 812 Superfast coupe. With the body being entirely made of carbon, the Monza is lighter than its sibling – 1500 kg.

The Ferrari roadster will be available in a single-seater version SP1 and a two-seater SP2. In the latter case, the interior is divided into two sections. The steering wheel, instruments, and seats are borrowed from the 812 Superfast.

Under the long hood hides a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine with 810 hp and a torque of 719 N·m. Paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox, acceleration to 100 km/h takes 2.9 seconds, and to 200 km/h – 7.9 seconds. The exact top speed is not specified, but it exceeds 300 km/h.

From the 812 Superfast, the roadster inherited an electronic differential and adaptive shock absorbers. Carbon-ceramic brakes are also installed.
