Aston Martin decided to revive the production of the iconic DB5 model. And not just any, but the one like James Bond’s in the movie “Goldfinger.” Yes, indeed, the car is equipped with a set of spy gadgets.
The Aston Martin DB5 Goldfinger Continuation (that’s what the model is called) will be released in a limited series of 25 cars. The cost of the car is 3.37 million dollars. It’s not cheap, but the original is even more expensive.
As in the movie, the Aston Martin is equipped with interchangeable license plates, a rear bulletproof screen, battering rams, and even machine guns (not real ones, of course). If desired, you can also release smoke.
In the cabin, there is a compartment for a gun under the seat, and a phone is installed in the driver’s door. Additionally, a remote with a bunch of buttons and a retro-style navigation screen are provided.
The Aston Martin DB5 is equipped with a 4.0-liter inline-six engine producing 290 hp and a 5-speed manual transmission.
The suspension, steering, and brakes of the coupe are upgraded, and a limited-slip differential is also installed.
