This GAZ-31105 Volga station wagon looks very unconventional. If you take a closer look, it immediately becomes clear that this is not a factory wagon. 
The original Volga station wagon was created by hand by a resident of the Tomsk region. Moreover, initially, the car was a sedan. 
The donor was a right-hand drive Toyota Camry Gracia station wagon – these were produced from 1996 to 2002.
Its rear body parts and interior were borrowed. 
The tuning of the Volga also includes the installation of a Japanese engine and transmission, although it is not exactly known which ones. According to one version, it is the standard 2.2-liter engine from the Toyota Camry XV20, while another suggests a Toyota hybrid installation with all-wheel drive.
