This LuAZ-969 looks very impressive. The Ukrainian off-roader has been thoroughly modified.
Now the LuAZ is four-door and with a metal roof – it was cut from a Sprinter. Powerful bumpers, a winch, and a snorkel have appeared, and the upward exhaust attracts attention.
Additionally, the clearance increased by 40 mm, and 14-inch off-road tires are installed.
The headlights seem original, but in fact, they were taken from a Volkswagen Golf II. A roof rack appeared on the roof.
Seats from Lanos are now in the cabin. LuAZ tuning also includes the installation of a turbo diesel from a Golf – an air intake on the hood had to be made for it.
The steering rack and disc brakes for all wheels were also taken from a Volkswagen Golf.
The LuAZ-969 is equipped with a hydraulic handbrake and a lockable rear differential.
