The development of the car was handled by the European design studio of Hyundai. They decided not to invent anything complicated and simply cut off the roof of the crossover. To compensate for the loss of rigidity, it was decided to weld the fifth door.

The most surprising thing is that the Hyundai Santa Fe convertible remained a seven-seater. The interior is finished with expensive Kimchi leather, as the top version of the crossover was taken as the base.

Under the hood of the car is a familiar 2.2-liter turbo diesel engine with 202 hp. The Hyundai crossover is equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.

The convertible will not become serial, like the Range Rover Evoque Cabrio or Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet. Although some tuning studio could well repeat the project.
