Shelby has announced the return of its flagship Super Snake car, which can now boast up to 830 horsepower. The manufacturer will limit the production of this model to only 300 units, with a starting price of $175,885. It is important to note that this amount already includes the base Ford Mustang car, which is not always the rule for similar tuning projects. Furthermore, the car comes with a full factory warranty of 3 years or 36,000 miles.
Price Comparison with Other Mustang Models
This amount is more than double the price of the most expensive standard Mustang, the 500 hp Dark Horse Premium model, which costs $69,075. However, the new Super Snake costs almost half as much as the less powerful but technologically advanced 815 hp Mustang GTD, whose starting price begins at $327,960 excluding additional equipment.
Configuration Options and Base Specifications
Potential buyers can choose between a coupe or convertible body, as well as between a manual or automatic transmission. Additionally, there is an option to order the car with or without a supercharger. The non-supercharged version will produce 480 horsepower but will retain the other advantages of the model.
Technological Improvements and Weight Reduction
These advantages include lightweight body panels made of aluminum and carbon fiber, as well as magnesium wheels.
