In the USA, a rare 1991 Mercedes-Benz 560SEL 6.0 AMG sedan was sold at auction. The car with factory AMG refinements fetched $165,000, which is equivalent to approximately UAH 6.8 million. Bring a Trailer reports.
The sedan is built on the basis of the Mercedes-Benz W126 S-Class and, according to the seller, was modified by the AMG Japan division while still new. The car is equipped with a 6.0-liter V8 M117/9 with 32-valve cylinder heads and a 4-speed automatic transmission.

Initially, the car was painted in Blue Black Metallic, but later it was repainted in silver Astral Silver Metallic. The sedan received the AMG aerodynamic package with new bumpers, side skirts, and a small spoiler on the trunk lid.
The car is also equipped with 17-inch three-piece AMG Aero III wheels manufactured by OZ Racing. The package includes AMG sports suspension, a limited-slip differential, and dual AMG exhaust tips.
The Mercedes-Benz mileage is 74,000 km. The interior features black leather heated seats, wood trim, climate control, cruise control, and fold-down picnic tables for rear passengers.

The interior is complemented by an AMG/MOMO steering wheel, a wooden AMG transmission selector handle, and an original Becker sound system. The speedometer is calibrated to 300 km/h.
According to the seller, in 2026 the underside of the body was cleaned with dry ice. Also, during the current ownership, some of the interior wood trim was restored and the trunk lid was repainted.
The Carfax report shows no records of accidents or serious damage to the car. At the same time, the sedan has not yet passed the California state emissions inspection.
