Odometer rollback in Ukraine may become a punishable offense

Such a bill was submitted by Deputy Robert Horvat.In the draft law, administrative liability is introduced for odometer rollback. That is, they won’t imprison you, but you’ll have to pay a fine.Although in Poland, according to Robert Horvat, you can get imprisoned for 5 years for such tricks. They take it very seriously there.The deputy noted that mileage adjustment in Ukraine is a common occurrence. In fact, before importing a car into our country, the mileage is increased (to make the car cheaper at customs), and then rolled back during resale.

As a result, both buyers suffer, and the state loses revenue.
