A genuine 1995 Chevrolet Camaro police car is up for auction on Bring a Trailer.
This coupe, which belonged to the Nevada Patrol, is equipped with a special B4C package for official use.
The car with an LT1 V8 engine was used by the Nevada Patrol from 1995 to 2007.
In 2025, if you get pulled over by the police, it will most likely be a Ford Police Interceptor or one of the recently discontinued Dodge Chargers. However, in the late 1990s and early 2000s, the main terror for speeders in Elko, Nevada, was this legendary fourth-generation Camaro.
This car, which once belonged to the Nevada Patrol, was ordered with the special B4C package and served in the NHP from 1995 to 2007. And although it has been retired for almost 20 years, it looks ready to jump out from behind a billboard at any moment and catch up with any violator.
The special B4C package was the police version of the Z28, which debuted in 1991 at the end of the third-generation Camaro era, when police departments that preferred Chevrolet needed a car capable of competing with increasingly powerful vehicles on American roads.
Chevrolet continued to offer the B4C option for the fourth-generation Camaro, which appeared in 1994. This package included various technical solutions designed to allow the car to withstand prolonged high-speed chases. Among the equipment were a more powerful alternator, reinforced stabilizer bars, separate oil coolers for the 275-horsepower 5.7-liter LT1 V8 engine, a six-speed manual transmission, and power steering.

This car was repainted in its original Medium Quasar Blue Metallic and Sebring Silver Metallic colors about 12 years ago and is equipped with all the necessary equipment used by patrol officers. The most noticeable element is the Federal Signal Jetsonic light bar, but there are also flashing strobe headlights, an MPH Industries K55 radar, a K-band radar detector, a Motorola scanner, a CB radio, and a flashlight.
But that’s not all. In the trunk, you can find a Nevada Patrol shirt and hat, a roll of NHP tape, and even a Federal Signal Stinger Spike System. The full description of the auction lot is available on Bring a Trailer.
These Camaros with their distinctive appearance were highly valued for their power and excellent handling, and still remain an affordable option. However, this rare police version will likely sell for a significantly higher price than a regular Z28. The main thing is not to catch the eye of real law enforcement officers, as happened to the owner of this car.
