It Became Known Which Manufacturers Will (Not) Abandon Gasoline and Diesel Cars

The results of the climate change conference in Glasgow have been revealed. According to The New York Times, not all automotive giants agreed to sign the declaration to stop the production of internal combustion engine vehicles by 2040, the Glasgow Declaration on Zero Emission Cars and Vans.

The following companies have committed to phasing out fuel engines:

  • BYD
  • Ford
  • General Motors
  • Jaguar Land Rover
  • Mercedes-Benz
  • Volvo

The following companies do not intend to abandon gasoline and diesel engines:

  • BMW
  • Honda
  • Hyundai
  • Nissan
  • Stellantis
  • Toyota
  • Volkswagen Group
