In Sweden, a new world speed record on ice has been set. The BMW M3 E30 coupe achieved an average speed of 341 km/h and a maximum speed of 346.8 km/h during two runs.
To achieve this result, the Buldre Racing Team performed rather unusual tuning on the BMW E30 M3. Under the hood now hides the famous Toyota 2JZ engine from the Supra.
Two massive turbines brought the power up to 1300 horsepower, and the maximum torque to 1578 Nm.
It is said to be the most powerful and fastest BMW 3 E30 in the world. Nevertheless, the driver managed to handle all this power on the ice. By the way, this is far from the first instance of a Toyota 2JZ being installed in a BMW. Such a car even exists in Ukraine.
