A very bright hot rod GAZ-51 is driving around Armavir. It looks like a tow truck from hell, or straight out of Mad Max movies.
The incredible hot rod GAZ was created by the owner of a local truck painting garage. The construction uses parts from many Soviet cars.
Specifically, the cabin of the GAZ-51 is lowered, and the 125 hp V8 was borrowed from a GAZ-53.
The front part of the frame is from a UAZ, and the rear part is custom-built.
The front suspension is from a Volga, and the rear suspension is from a Gazelle. Interestingly, the hot rod even received an air suspension.
The GAZ tow truck also attracts attention with numerous decorative details. For example, the lights are made from KamAZ pistons, and the gear lever is crafted from a connecting rod.
It is clear that such a hot rod was not created for car evacuation. Moreover, its crane arm is just for show and cannot tow anything.
