This humpbacked Zaporozhets is a mid-engine vehicle and costs $313,000. The sports car was crafted from two ZAZ-965s and a pair of Lotus Exiges. Indeed, the British car donated its 1.8-liter supercharged Toyota 2ZZ-GE engine.
After modifications, its power increased to 263 hp, and the ZAZ top speed is 220 km/h. A significant part of the body panels is new. Interestingly, the doors received electric drive, and the LED headlights were taken from a Harley-Davidson bike. In general, there are many interesting solutions in the design. For instance, the ZAZ steering wheel is removable, the ventilation system ducts are routed to the speakers, and additional instruments have appeared in the glove compartment.
Overall, the review of this wonder is worth watching.
