American Scott Tupper built a very unusual Volkswagen Beetle. At first glance, the convertible exactly matches the original, but it is much larger.
The unusual car is built on the platform of a Dodge truck. Compared to the standard Beetle, its size has increased by 40%. It turned out to be very unconventional and whimsical.
The giant unusual Volkswagen Beetle is front-engined and equipped with a 5.7-liter V8 Hemi with 340 hp. Notably, it has an automatic transmission, but in the interior, they left three pedals like in the Beetle — the clutch was made into another brake pedal. Also inside, seat heating and ventilation appeared. And, if necessary, additional instruments from the same Dodge are extended.
