We’re sure you’ve heard about this car or even remember the post about it on TJ. It is a direct competitor to the posh Swedish “suitcases”. Despite its birth year (1981), it can outperform many modern sports cars and produce so much smoke that the oldest GAZ trucks would simply disappear in the smoke screen.
What’s under the hood? A 3-liter diesel engine with a block from the W210 and a turbo from… Scania!
Power – 600 hp, torque – 1000 Nm. It would be interesting to see a race between this “beast” and the meanest VW Golf. How it was made:
