In one of Los Angeles’ old garages, a rare 1961 Mercedes-Benz 300SL roadster was discovered. The car had been abandoned for several decades.
Judging by the conditions, the garage was not the best, so the body rusted through. The interior will need reupholstering with new leather, and the soft top – replacing. Nevertheless, the Mercedes sports car is valued at as much as $800,000.
The fact is, only 1,858 300SL roadsters were ever made, and just 101 of them in this blue color. The car is equipped with a three-liter straight-six engine with direct fuel injection, producing 240 hp, and can reach a speed of 240 km/h.
