The thing is, under the hood now hides a V8 from an old Cadillac CTS-V, and they decided to complement it with a turbocharger. The result is 650 hp, which is more than enough for a car weighing only 1270 kg.
The original car was built by blogger Caleb Gingium. He wanted a powerful yet inconspicuous-looking car to troll different fast cars at traffic lights.
However, the tuning of the Volvo 240 is not yet complete. The engine was changed, but the brakes remain stock. So far, $20,000 has been invested in the project, with $5,000 spent on the wagon itself and $10,000 on the engine.
