Old ZIL-130 crossed with Mercedes S-Class

Strangely enough, tuning the ZIL-130 is not such a rare phenomenon. And it’s not just about the 600-horsepower Akademik’s ZIL, but also about numerous pickups in American style. One such ZIL-130 pickup is currently in the final stages of completion in Chechnya. The ZIL Revolution project is interesting because the truck was crossed with a Mercedes S-Class W220. Not only the 4.3-liter 273-horsepower V8 and 5-speed automatic transmission were borrowed from the Mercedes, but also the suspension and electrical equipment.

Most likely, the interior will also be from the S-Class. In addition, the ZIL-130’s roof and doors have been lowered, the ground clearance reduced, and the fenders modified. New footboards appeared, and the bumpers were removed. The rear part was created from scratch by hand.
