The sedan was registered in January 1996 in Great Britain. This is one of the first Impreza Turbo 2000 models officially supplied to the local market. Initially, the car was used as a Subaru UK press car.
From 1996 to 1999, the car belonged to the McRae family. According to the auction house, it could have been used by Colin McRae himself, as well as Jimmy McRae and Alister McRae.
Impreza Turbo 4WD: condition and features of the specimen

The car has been preserved in a condition close to original. The interior corresponds to the British specification and has minimal changes.

- engine overhaul in August 2022
- new brakes

According to the auction house’s assessment, the car is in good technical condition and may be of interest to collectors.
The Impreza model in the 1990s became key to Subaru’s successes in the World Rally Championship. In 1995, Colin McRae won the world champion title, and the Subaru team won three consecutive Manufacturers’ Cups in 1995–1997.
