by In the USA, a crazy 1992 Volvo 960 was put up for auction on eBay. The car’s power was brought up to 3000 horsepower! This is not a mistake, there should indeed be three zeros. 
The dragster Volvo 960 is equipped with a huge Chevrolet V8 bored to 10.3 liters! At Dart Racing, the engine was complemented with four turbines and a supercharger.
For cooling, they installed a pair of radiators and two electric water pumps. 
It should be noted that 3000 hp and 4260 Nm of torque are achieved on racing 116-octane fuel. All this power goes to the rear axle via a 4-speed automatic transmission. 
The Volvo 960 has a reinforced suspension, and a whole bunch of additional instruments and switches appeared in the cabin. Paradoxically, the Volvo sedan with the power of two Bugatti Chirons is priced at only 11 thousand dollars.
