Suzuki has updated its compact model, which can now compete even with crossovers

New version of Suzuki Every J Limited

Suzuki has introduced a special version of its compact van Every called the J Limited. This model received crossover elements and stylish decals, giving it a more attractive and adventure-ready look.

Exterior updates

The sixth generation Suzuki Every, which has been in production since 2015, remains popular in the Japanese market. The new J Limited version is based on the flagship Join Turbo trim and has received a number of exterior improvements. The front and rear bumpers now feature glossy black trim, reminiscent of the unpainted plastic of retro off-roaders. The same finish is applied to the mirrors, door handles, and pillars. In addition, the model has received darkened headlights with LED technology.

Color solutions and details

The color palette for the J Limited includes the following options: Ivy Green Metallic, Tool Orange, Denim Blue Metallic, and Moss Gray Metallic. Additionally, the car is equipped with metal wheel covers, giving it a more robust look.

Interior and options

Despite its compact dimensions (length 133.7 inches), the Suzuki Every J Limited offers a spacious interior, ideal for camping or trips out of town. Standard equipment includes automatic air conditioning and power-sliding doors on both sides. Additional accessories, such as a roof rack, luggage bars on the side walls, and a mesh organizer, enhance the practicality of the model. An optional 7-inch infotainment screen with Bluetooth, a rearview camera, a USB port, and a GPS antenna is also available.

Engine and transmission

The special version is equipped with a turbocharged three-cylinder engine with a displacement of 658 cc, producing 63 hp and 95 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and can be either rear-wheel drive (2WD) or all-wheel drive (4WD).

Price and availability

The Suzuki Every J Limited is already available for order in Japan. The price of the rear-wheel-drive version is ¥1,835,900 ($12,500), and the all-wheel-drive version is ¥1,989,900 ($13,500). An additional technology package increases the cost by ¥52,800 ($360).

This model is not the only van in Suzuki’s lineup in Japan. Along with the Every, the company offers more modern models such as the Spacia, Wagon R, and Hustler, as well as more robust variants like the Spacia Gear and Hustler Tough Wild. For fans of compact trucks, the Super Carry X Limited model is also available.

Given the growing demand for compact and versatile cars, the Suzuki Every J Limited could become an attractive choice for urban environments and active recreation. Its combination of style, functionality, and affordable price makes it competitive in the kei-car market, especially in regions where compactness and economy are key factors.
