by Promised by Germany, 18 Leopard 2 tanks have already arrived in Ukraine, reported the magazine Spiegel. As the publication writes, the last tanks departed from Germany to Ukraine at the end of last week. They have already crossed the border and are on Ukrainian territory.
In addition to the Leopard 2, Germany also transferred the previously promised approximately 40 Marder infantry fighting vehicles to Ukraine.
According to Spiegel’s sources, Ukraine received the Leopard tanks with “a large package of weapons and spare parts.” Germany keeps the exact route of weapon deliveries secret for security reasons.
