Exclusive Collection in Switzerland
In Switzerland, a hidden collection of exotic cars, so impressive it could evoke envy even in a Middle Eastern oil baron, is located. Under the name The Tailored for Speed Collection, this incredible fleet of machines will be sold off at an RM Sotheby’s auction next month, and Chris Harris recently had the opportunity to inspect it.
Ferrari Fan and His Treasures
The identity of the collection’s owner remains unknown, but it is evident that he is a great admirer of Ferrari. Of the 42 cars being auctioned, 33 bear the Prancing Horse emblem, and many of them are among the most sought-after models ever built.
Racing and Their Legacy
The most valuable specimen in this collection is the 1998 Ferrari 333 SP, with an estimated value of $5.5 to $6.5 million. This is one of only 40 examples produced, which won two rounds of the Sports Racing World Cup in 1999.

The 333 SP is not the only Ferrari with a racing past in the collection. Also for sale are the FXX-K Evo, FXX Evo, and 599 XX, with estimated values potentially reaching $5.5 million, $4.65 million, and $3.5 million respectively.
Road-Going Ferraris and Their Appeal
In addition to race cars, the collection features road-going Ferraris that are no less attractive. The auction list includes a 2017 LaFerrari Aperta valued at $5.5 million, a Daytona SP3, as well as icons such as the F40 and 812 Competizione A. Also present are the SA Aperta, the sharp F12tdf, and even the race-bred 488 GTE Evo, highlighting the diversity of the collection.
Other Manufacturers
The collection is not limited to just Ferrari, as it contains quite a few other incredibly desirable cars. Among them is a Pagani Huayra Roadster BC, painted in Glossy Blue Francia with carbon accents, with an estimated value of $4 to $4.4 million. Another is the Huayra R, one of only 30 examples built, and the recently delivered Utopia.
Bugatti and Other Brands
Bugatti’s representation is led by a 2023 Chiron Super Sport, finished in a blue carbon fiber tint, making the car resemble something carved from sapphire. With only 516 km on the odometer, it could cost up to $4.4 million.
Finally, RM Sotheby’s also includes in the collection a Lamborghini Sian FKP 37, a Mercedes-AMG GT2 Pro, a Bentley Continental GT3-R, and a Lamborghini Huracan Technica 60th Anniversary Edition.
Final Thoughts
Money certainly can’t buy happiness, but if you’re a car enthusiast, you’re likely now dreaming of being incredibly rich to place a bid. We know that feeling…

This collection not only showcases the level of investment in the automotive industry but also reflects the growing demand for limited series and historical models. Similar auctions often serve as an indicator of trends in the collector car market, where rare specimens can significantly increase in value in a short time. The impressive range from racing machines to road-going supercars highlights how collector preferences are changing, with an increasing focus on uniqueness and exclusivity.
