Now you have a unique opportunity to purchase this Bugatti

The first Bugatti Bolide is being auctioned

The Bugatti Bolide is a unique car that goes beyond conventional hypercars. Its rarity and technical specifications make it desirable for collectors, but purchasing it is not so simple. Even with a large budget, the chances of obtaining a Bolide are limited due to the brand’s exclusivity.

This car was not available for general order—all 40 units were sold to private clients even before the official presentation. Now, one of them will go to a public auction for the first time, where anyone with enough money can purchase it.

Bugatti created the Bolide as an experiment: what would happen if all the restrictions holding back the potential of models like the Veyron or Chiron were removed?

The hypercar develops 1,600 hp (1,193 kW) of torque, 1,180 pound-feet (1,598 Nm), and weighs only 3,086 pounds (1,400 kg). It accelerates from 0 to 60 mph (0–96 km/h) in 2.2 seconds, and its top speed is electronically limited to 236 mph (379 km/h).

Why is this Bolide special?

This is the first production example from the limited run of 40 cars. It features a design inspired by the concept car, special Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires, center-lock wheels, and body-integrated seats. The car has already driven 389 miles, indicating its active use on the track.

The auction is conducted by Gooding & Company during Monterey Car Week. Although the new price of the Bolide was around $4.8 million, it is expected to sell for $6 million. For the owner, this is not only a status purchase but also an opportunity to make a significant profit.

This auction is a historic event for the automotive world, as it opens access to one of the most technologically advanced Bugattis. Even after several years of use, the Bolide remains a symbol of engineering mastery and high performance.
