Suzuki Enters the Culinary Market with Vegetarian Curries

Japanese automaker Suzuki, together with the restaurant chain Torizen, has introduced a line of ready-made vegetarian curries. The packaging of each set features popular models from the company, such as the Jimny. Initially, these dishes were tested in the Suzuki corporate cafeteria, where they received approval from the employees.

Four varieties of curry have gone on sale, each with unique packaging design from Suzuki’s Automobile Design Department. Interestingly, if you put all the boxes together, a hidden picture appears. The cost of one serving (180 g) is about 6 dollars.

Assortment of Dishes

“The dish is filled with gratitude and love for Indian cuisine, has a delicate but rich taste,” said Torizen CEO Yoshitaka Date.

This project not only expands Suzuki’s product range but also highlights the influence of Indian culture on Japan. It is worth noting that many modern Suzuki models sold in Japan were developed specifically for the Indian market. This culinary initiative could become another bridge between the two cultures, demonstrating how seemingly unrelated industries can find unexpected points of connection.
