Tesla produces not only cars, charging stations, and solar roofs but also other related products. Moreover, such products often have a humorous origin.
For instance, the Californian manufacturer previously released a limited edition of branded shorts (with the inscription S3XY – a nod to the electric car model range) and even… tequila (which, by the way, was sold out on the very first day despite its not cheap price – a 0.7 bottle of Tesla Tequila was priced at 250 dollars). Now, the head of Tesla has announced that the company will also produce its own beer.

This was announced by Elon Musk at the grand opening of the company’s German plant, Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg. The choice of beer is not accidental – it is no secret that the residents of Germany love foamy alcoholic beverages like no one else.
Tesla’s branded beer will be named Gigabier. It will be produced directly at the Berlin Tesla plant. However, it is unclear whether a brewery will be opened at the facility, or if the drink will be purchased from an external producer, and the plant itself will only handle bottling.

For Gigabier, faceted bottles will be made in the style of the yet-to-be-launched Cybertruck pickup (its release is expected in 2023).
As for the Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg, the plant will start producing cars in November. The first on the assembly line will be the Tesla Model Y crossover. Besides the Berlin factory, Tesla also has two more car plants – in California, USA, and Shanghai, China.
