After all, if earlier he bought only the newest and most expensive cars (take for example the Mercedes-Maybach G 650 Landaulet for $1.5 million), then one of his latest acquisitions became a Mercedes-Benz 300SL. The rapper published the photo of the rarity on his Insta.
This rare Merc cost Timati around $1 million, maybe even more. After all, the cost of this retro car strongly depends on the condition, year of production, and rarity of the specific example. For example, a completely rusty Mercedes-Benz 300SL from 1961 in a rare blue color, despite its terrible condition, was valued at $800,000.
Let us remind you, the Mercedes 300SL is the first West German sports car of the post-war period. Initially, it was produced (since 1955) only as a two-seater coupe with “Gullwing” doors, and since 1957 also as a roadster. The total production run of the model was a little over 3000 copies. Specifically, 1400 coupes and 1858 open roadsters were produced.
Few know (and remember), but back in 2009 TopZhyr wrote about a Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing in Ukraine. What happened to that car, and whether it is still in our country is unknown. After all, even 12 years ago, not only did few see it, but few had even heard of its presence in our country.
