The first photos of the Toyota RAV4 Prime are presented. The coolest version of the model turned out to be a very powerful plug-in hybrid.
The Toyota RAV4 crossover is equipped with a 2.5-liter gasoline engine and a pair of electric motors, and together they produce a decent 306 hp. Such a RAV4 accelerates to a hundred in just 5.8 seconds. In the brand’s modern lineup, only the 2020 Toyota Supra is faster.
At the same time, the new Toyota RAV4 Prime promises to be more economical than a regular hybrid (which consumes an average of 4.8 l/100 km). Moreover, the car can travel 63 km on electric power alone.
The Toyota hybrid can be distinguished by the enlarged front air intake, body kit, and 18-inch wheels. In addition, the top crossover is more richly equipped: power driver’s seat and tailgate, adaptive cruise control, road sign recognition and automatic braking systems.
