New 2026 Toyota Grand Highlander
The Grand Highlander has become one of Toyota’s most popular crossovers, ranking second in sales volume. In the first six months of 2024, 65,419 units were sold in the USA, which is 19.7% more than last year.
Despite its success, the model, which is already in its third year of production, did not receive significant updates. The only change was a black badge on the hybrid versions.
Technical Specifications and Prices
The base version is equipped with a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine producing 265 hp. The hybrid variant has a 2.5-liter engine combined with an electric motor (245 hp), and the top-tier hybrid version, the Hybrid Max, develops 362 hp and accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 6.3 seconds.
Standard equipment includes acoustic windshield, power liftgate, 18-inch wheels, three-zone climate control, and a multimedia system with a 12.3-inch screen. More expensive trims offer a digital instrument cluster, head-up display, heated seats, and a premium JBL audio system.
Prices for the model range start from $41,360 for the base LE version. Hybrid modifications start from $44,710, and the most powerful Hybrid Max Platinum AWD is $59,275 (excluding the $1,495 delivery fee).
Despite minor changes, the Grand Highlander continues to be one of Toyota’s key products in the American market. Demand for the crossover is growing, which may be explained by its practicality and wide choice of powertrains. It is worth noting that even a slight price increase is unlikely to affect sales, as the brand is traditionally associated with reliability and durability.
