New color for Toyota TRD Pro
Toyota has introduced a new color called Wave Maker for its TRD Pro models—Tacoma, Tundra, and Sequoia. This vibrant blue shade was developed at the CALTY studio. The designers drew inspiration from extreme adventures, even beyond Earth. While it may sound like a marketing move, the new color truly grabs attention.
Technical features of the TRD Pro
The updated TRD Pro models will arrive at dealerships in the fall of 2026. The TRD Pro series is known for its powerful engines and off-road capabilities. For example, the 4Runner and Tacoma are equipped with a hybrid system based on a 2.4-liter turbocharged engine, while the Tundra and Sequoia feature a 3.4-liter twin-turbo V6.
