Toyota Sold Over 100,000 of Its Premium SUVs, Surpassing Even Japan in One Country

Toyota Land Cruiser 300 Series Sales in 2024

The Land Cruiser 300 Series is the largest model in the Toyota lineup, however, it is not available in North America – customers there are offered the smaller 250 Series and the Lexus LX.

Although this model is particularly popular in the Middle East, the sales leader in 2024 was Australia with 13,790 vehicles sold. Japan took second place with 13,174 units.

Key Markets for the Land Cruiser 300 Series

Middle Eastern countries remain the primary market for this model. Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Iraq, and Jordan were all in the top 10 by sales volume.

Interestingly, Russia, despite the lack of official supplies, still made it into the top ten with 3,682 cars sold.

Experts point out that global figures could have been higher if Toyota had offered this model in the US and Canadian markets. Currently, the company offers other options there.

An updated version of the Land Cruiser 300 Series appeared in 2025 with a digital instrument panel, and in 2026 the model received a hybrid version with 457 hp. The model’s competition may come from the new generation Nissan Patrol, which recently debuted after a 15-year hiatus.

Given the updates and expansion of the lineup, it is interesting to observe how this will affect sales in the current year. Particular interest is raised by the hybrid version, which may find its buyer in markets where environmental standards are becoming increasingly stringent.
