Yenko’s 1,000 Horsepower Rear-Wheel Drive Silverado with a Manual Transmission Will Ignite Your Enthusiasm

Key Features

The Return of Powerful Pickups

Street trucks seem to be preparing for a loud comeback. Ford started this wave with the Lobo Maverick and Lobo F150 models. Then Ram and Fox joined forces to create a lowered pickup with 650 horsepower. Now Chevrolet and Specialty Vehicle Engineering have thrown down the gauntlet to competitors by introducing an incredibly powerful model.

The Yenko SC Silverado is not only equipped with a 1,000 horsepower V8 but also has a manual transmission and rear-wheel drive. This is a bold decision that causes excitement.

Technical Details

SVE takes the 6.2-liter aluminum V8 engine as a base and transforms it into a real weapon. A 1538MV forged crankshaft, forged steel connecting rods, forged pistons, updated cylinder heads, a high-performance supercharger, and a Boost By Wire system provide reliable four-digit power.

Buyers can choose calibrations for 91 or 93 octane gasoline. A stainless steel dual-tip exhaust system completes the assembly, providing a powerful sound. Six-piston front Brembo brakes add safety, working with 16.1-inch diameter vented rotors. However, the biggest surprise remains the transmission.

SVE installs a six-speed manual transmission, which is not offered by either Ford or Ram. The chassis is also fully modernized: the front is lowered by two inches, and the rear by five. Fox shocks help the pickup effectively distribute power and move steadily in corners.

Design and Style

In terms of design, SVE uses elements from classic Yenko models. Bright side stripes in colors such as Gloss Black, Hugger Orange, and Silver are available. The hood is adorned with a “1000 HP” badge. Lightweight 22-inch wheels are offered in various finishes and come equipped with Nitto tires.

SVE and Yenko SC badges make it clear that this is not an ordinary Silverado. Of course, the sound, the ride, and the manual transmission also help distinguish this model.

Cost and Warranty

Currently, interested buyers can order this pickup through their Chevrolet dealer or directly from SVE. The model comes with a full three-year, 36,000-mile warranty on the engine and supercharger.

As for the cost, it is impressive. SVE starts with a base 2026 Silverado W/T model, a two-door version with a short wheelbase and standard cab, priced at $36,950, and then adds the YENKO/SC package for $89,995.

In the end, you will have to pay about $127,000 for the pickup. This model is not created for practicality, but to simultaneously humble sports cars and your bank account.

The growing competition among manufacturers will contribute to the development of innovative solutions, which may ultimately influence trends in the entire automotive world.
