Despite the war, the share of new premium-class cars reached a record high in the history of independent Ukraine! More precisely, last year the share of premium cars in the primary market reached a record 17.5% — the highest figure in the history of Ukraine. This statistic is provided by the information-analytical group AutoConsulting.
In 2022, about 7,000 new premium-class cars were sold in the Ukrainian market. In certain months, their market share even exceeded 20%. By comparison, the figure was 13.4% at the end of 2021.
Half of all luxury cars were sold in Kyiv and the capital region. They were also in demand in Dnipropetrovsk, Lviv, and Odesa regions. German brands maintain leadership in the segment. The first place was retained by BMW — the brand accounts for 25% of sales. The second position is occupied by Mercedes-Benz, and the third by Audi.
Recall that recently a new BMW 7 flagship was brought to Ukraine.
