27 years have passed since the debut of the Pagani Zonda, but the Italian factory continues to create unique examples. Although the last brand-new Zonda has already been built, owners can send their cars for upgrades through the Unico division. That is exactly what the owner of this car did.
History of transformations of the unique Zonda
Originally, this Zonda was a Roadster S. About five years ago, it was completely rebuilt and received the name Zonda Oliver Evolution Roadster. During the update, the car got a matte silver finish with exposed carbon, making it one of the most striking Zondas ever created.
Last year, the car was sold and immediately sent back to Pagani for another transformation. The work has just been completed, and the car has received a new name: Cervino. Although its design has become less radical than before, it has undoubtedly become more stylish.
Exterior and technical changes
All exterior body panels are new and painted in a beautiful light blue shade. The car also received smaller front canards, a different hood, and new wheels. The most obvious changes are at the rear: the excessive two-tier rear wing from the Oliver version was replaced with a smaller, but still large, element similar to those used on other unique Zondas of recent years. The roof air intake, inspired by the Zonda Cinque, and the “shark fin” remain in place.
Interior and engine
No custom Pagani can do without a radically new interior, and the Cervino is no exception. The black leather has been replaced with a stunning combination of white and blue leather covering the seats, door panels, and dashboard. The three-spoke steering wheel has also been reupholstered in blue leather with wooden inserts.
Most likely, the Cervino has the same engine that was installed during its conversion into the Oliver Evolution Roadster. This means that under the hood is Pagani’s optional 7.4-liter engine — a version with increased displacement from the standard 7.3-liter naturally aspirated V12, created for greater torque.

This story is an excellent illustration of Pagani’s philosophy, where each car is not just a vehicle, but an ongoing evolving project. Zonda owners are perhaps the most dedicated enthusiasts in the automotive world, as they are willing to invest significant sums in reimagining already legendary machines. The transition from the aggressive “Oliver” to the more elegant “Cervino” shows how an owner’s tastes can change, but the pursuit of uniqueness and excellence remains unchanged. It also underscores Pagani’s unique business model, which continues to generate revenue and maintain interest in its products decades after their initial release, transforming old cars into new masterpieces.
