Journalist and Ukrainian Armed Forces officer Volodymyr Mukan killed in Bahmut

An automotive journalist and junior lieutenant of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Volodymyr Mukan, was killed while performing a combat mission in Bahmut.

Prior to the war, Volodymyr Mukan worked as a journalist and editor for the newspaper “Hazeta po-ukrainski”, the magazine “Krayina”, and the website Gazeta.ua. He was one of the organizers of the Old Car Land automotive festival.

Colleagues knew Volodymyr Mukan as a good, honest, and responsible person. He stood up to defend Ukraine from the early days of the full-scale Russian invasion and shortly before his death was awarded the rank of junior lieutenant.
