Bentley’s new video featuring legendary driver Travis Pastrana radically changes the perception of the brand known for its understated luxury. In the film titled “Supersports: Full Send,” Pastrana demonstrates incredible maneuverability and drifting capabilities in the new rear-wheel-drive Supersports coupe right on the grounds of the company’s headquarters in Crewe.
The New Character of the Supersports
The main hero of the video is the updated Supersports model. Unlike other hybrid and all-wheel-drive cars in the Continental line, this version is equipped with rear-wheel drive only. Its heart is a 4.0-liter bi-turbo V8 producing 656 horsepower, without any hybrid components. This allows the car to demonstrate long, controlled slides and sharp changes in trajectory, which is uncharacteristic of heavy luxury coupes.
Pastrana wastes no time proving that it can hold long, smoky slides and handle sharp transitions, something you wouldn’t expect from a Continental coupe.
To make everything perfect, Bentley engineers slightly modified the car for the shoot. Specifically, a hydraulic handbrake was installed, and the throttle response map was altered. This allowed Pastrana to easily break the rear axle into a drift and instantly restore power. The handbrake was even named Mildred—after one of the famous “Bentley girls,” the brave female pilots of the brand’s early years.
A Camouflaged Future Newcomer
Besides impressive driving, the video is filled with symbolism. Pastrana speeds past the “Dream Factory” and sunlit parking lots, subtly reminding of recent investments in the development of the Crewe plant. Historical cars of the brand appear on his path, such as the Le Mans-winning Speed 8, GT3 race cars, and pre-war Blowers.

However, the most interesting part is the glimpse into the future. The footage briefly shows a camouflaged Urban SUV, hiding Bentley’s first fully electric car. And if you look closely, you can see the EXP15 concept car on the building’s roof, hinting at the brand’s future design and technological development paths.
Available Only to the Chosen Few
Although the video generates huge interest in the Supersports model, it is already impossible to purchase. Production will begin in late 2026, with the first deliveries to customers expected in early 2027. However, all 500 planned units are already sold out.
This campaign is a vivid example of how classic automotive brands are adapting to modern communication trends. Bentley, without abandoning its heritage and aura of exclusivity, skillfully uses the format of a viral video and the authority of an extreme sports athlete to speak to a new, young audience. The demonstration of drifting is not just a spectacle but a technological message about the new model’s eagerly anticipated rear-wheel-drive character. And the appearance of future electric models in the footage shows that the brand is confidently looking forward, combining the thrill of the past with the technologies of the future. Such a strategy allows it to remain relevant in a market where not only status but also the emotions a car provides are becoming increasingly important.
