A Range Rover Sport is for sale in Finland, having undergone a radical transformation. The car, based on a 2006 model, has shed its original appearance in favor of the styling of the most expensive SUV, the Rolls-Royce Cullinan. This project vividly demonstrates how far tuning enthusiasts can go in their quest to create a unique car.

Dubious Use of “Original” Parts

According to the seller on the Nettiauto platform, original Rolls-Royce components were used for the conversion. However, the credibility of this claim is highly questionable. The front of the car now features the characteristic Pantheon radiator grille, completely black, as well as headlights inspired by the pre-facelift Cullinan design.

Extensive External Changes

The transformation was not limited to just the grille and headlights. A massive carbon fiber air intake scoop has appeared on the hood. This aggressive element contrasts with the formally “aristocratic” face of Rolls-Royce. Carbon fiber is also used for the front fenders, rear body panels, and D-pillars. The car has received new matte black wheels, an off-road LED light bar integrated into the bumper, as well as tinted rear lights. The look is completed by a bright purple-blue wrap, which likely covers the entire body.

Bright and Technological Interior Overhaul

The car’s interior has also undergone serious changes to match the extravagant exterior. A large touchscreen for the infotainment system, resembling a tablet, now takes center stage on the center console. The dashboard and pillar trim are finished in bright orange leather, creating a sharp contrast. The car’s headliner is upholstered in black leather with quilting.

The Purpose of the Project Remains Unclear

The result is a car that is difficult to classify definitively. It has lost its identity as a Range Rover but, of course, has not become a real Rolls-Royce. This project is either a bold expression of individuality or a demonstration of a lack of clear stylistic intent. Such tuning projects often become the subject of lively discussions among automotive enthusiasts, as they blur the lines between brands and raise questions about the success of such experiments. Demand for such unique cars always exists in niche markets where exclusivity is valued, regardless of its aesthetic perception by the general public.
