Updated Kia Telluride Design
Kia has unveiled the completely updated 2027 Telluride SUV, which will debut this month at the Los Angeles Auto Show. This three-row model, a competitor to the Ford Explorer, has become 2.3 inches longer and received a wheelbase that is 3 inches larger than its predecessor.
Exterior and Features
Although the Kia Telluride was never considered a benchmark of beauty, its exterior looked particularly outdated after the appearance of the electric EV9. Now the situation has changed – the new generation of the SUV looks just as stylish and confident as its electric counterpart, but has its own unique design, including, perhaps, a very controversial grille.
Kia has revealed its all-new 2027 Telluride ahead of a debut at this month’s LA Auto Show. The three-row Ford Explorer rival is 2.3 inches longer and rides on a 3-inch bigger wheelbase. Deliveries of the Telluride, including the grizzly X-Pro trim, start in the first quarter of 2026.
Expectations for the Full Presentation
Full information on the technical specifications of the second-generation Telluride will be presented at the Los Angeles Auto Show. For now, images of both the standard version and the golden-colored X-Pro off-road variant are available, showcasing the car’s exterior and interior.
Dimensions and Production Plans
Although precise technical details remain unknown, it is known that the new Telluride has become larger than its predecessor. In addition to the increased length, the vehicle has become 1 inch taller. The manufacturer plans to start deliveries of the new models, including the X-Pro version, in the first quarter of 2026.
This model continues the line of successful Kia SUVs that combine space, functionality, and modern design. The increased dimensions promise to improve comfort for third-row passengers as well as cargo capacity, making the Telluride even more attractive to family buyers. The updated design, similar to the EV9, indicates a unified design language for the brand, which is gradually being introduced across all new models.
